SPRINGFIELD—Bistro Verde, Lincoln Land Community College’s student-run café, will open for lunch for the spring 2015 semester beginning Thursday, Jan. 29.
Bistro Verde will operate Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as a casual bistro from Thursday, Jan. 29 through Tuesday, March 3.
Fine dining will be offered Thursday, March 26 through Tuesday, April 21.
The community is invited to experience food prepared and served by LLCC culinary arts, baking and pastry, and hospitality students.

Cash and debit or credit cards are accepted. In lieu of tips, customers are asked to complete comment cards about their dining experience.
The menu is currently being developed by students and their instructors and will be posted at www.llcc.edu/hospitality-culinary-arts by Jan. 23.
This is the second year of operation for Bistro Verde in the state-of-the-art Workforce Careers Center.
