Loggers can hit. Lincoln Land’s baseball team has proof.
It is currently batting .349 on the season, which is seventh in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
LLCC has also scored 290 runs on the season, ranking 11th in the nation.
These numbers have helped Lincoln Land’s baseball team win 11-straight games. It now has a 23-11 record on the season as of April 14.
The team is also 12-6 in conference games.
The Loggers’ pitchers have a 4.81 earned run average, ranking 69th in the nation. Team’s are batting .299 against Lincoln Land.
Sophomore infielder and outfielder Will Schneider leads the nation with 19 doubles. He also ranks 19th in the nation with 30 runs batted in.
Schneider was named to the first-team all conference last season.
