In the early morning hours, A car skidded off a highway and careened into the side of the Taylorville Lincoln Land Community College campus. Dee Kreuger, director of the Taylorville campus, sent an email the following morning explaining the situation. A car had hit the South building and rendered rooms 1104 and 1113, along with adjacent faculty space, were unusable. The damage to the wall was severe enough to call for beams to hold the ceiling up. Along with the building damage, the copier inside the room was also damaged. As of this time, the only details about the driver are that he was returning from a bar, where he worked as a DJ.
