SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College’s College for Kids (CFK) program is Space Exploration, Dragon Genetics, Speedometry and more this summer.
The fun and educational opportunities for children will be held at the Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road.
Registrations are being accepted now. Space is limited. Early registration is recommended.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Session will be held July 6 to 9, July 13 to 16 and July 20 to 23.
Students may register for one or more weeks of classes. Cost for each one-week CFK session is $125.
Classes are designed for students who have completed kindergarten through eighth grades as of spring 2015.

A special youth opportunity is also being offered for 16- to 18-year-olds.
A Video Game Camp is being held July 6 to 9 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
This course teaches students how to create video games. Youth will be paired with an LLCC student in one of the LLCC computer gaming programs to create a game and publish it to an iPad for testing. Cost for the camp is $135.
