The beloved actor who voiced such characters as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck has died. Joe Alaskey had been battling cancer. After the death of Mel Blanc in 1989 Alaskey was just one of the two actors to take over. Loving the attitude of Bugs Bunny and the goofiness of Daffy Duck is why fans young and old loved these cartoon characters. He proved to be a prominent voices out there in the animation world. Where he won an Emmy in 2004 for “Duck Dodgers” which is on Cartoon Network. In 1988 he voiced Yosemite Sam in the movie “Who framed Roger Rabbit” which is one of his favorite highlights. He also voiced characters which included Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Plucky Duck, Rugrats spin off “All Grown Up” where he voiced Grandpa Lou Pickles. He also played the Mermaid man from the Sponge Bob video games, along with several other welll known animated TV characters. ) :
