Do any of you know who Dr. Strange is? You will!
Beset by demons at the young age of eight years old Stephen Vincent Strange was rescued by Earths protector the Sorcerer Supreme, also known as the Ancient One.
Finally at age 11 Strange helped Donna, who had been injured, which help him decide career in medicine.
Strange had taken the Ancient One as his mentor throughout the series of comics. But during some unfortunate events Strange had to close down the Ancient Ones mind. Which lead to his human death. Strange who was destined to be Sorcerer Supreme was now taking his place.
Dr. Strange, which made his debut in July of 1963 in a comic called “Strange Tales” # 110. There have been several cross over comics where Dr. Strange appears. Some have been meeting up with Dracula, The Thing, The Human Torch, Scarlet Witch, The Hulk, and even Benjamin Franklin to name just a few. Strange was even been seen in the Animated cartoon of “Spider man” in 1994, which more of you may remember.
His Hallucinogenic qualities were bizarre to say the least and with his magical and mystical powers Stand Lee, has Strange enter several twisted dimensions. One resembling the painter Salvador Dali’s work.
Benedict Cumberbatch, who you may recall acting on the most current series “Sherlock”. He has also acted in other movies as “The Hobbit”, “War Horse” and “The Penguins of Madagascar”, course these are just a few of his great movies.
And now this November you will see Cumberbatch on screen once more as Dr. Strange.
Stan Lee who will be 94 years old in December is still at work as script writer for the movie. And the live action film seems to be off to a great start with the first trailers release.
And those Marvel fans expect to see Dr. Strange again in the future when he crosses over with our current action Marvel’s. Keep your calendar open on November 4, for the movie which is simply called: Marvel-Dr. Strange.
