SPRINGFIELD – Individuals interested in training for careers in various health professions are invited to attend information sessions at Lincoln Land Community College in the coming months.
Attendance at an information session is the first step required before enrolling in these programs.
The sessions cover admission, program and clinical information. They also cover career outlooks in each field. No preregistration for the sessions is required.
Programs and scheduled information sessions are:
- Surgical Technology: Information sessions at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 16, Nov. 11, Jan. 13, March 17 and May 5 in Montgomery Hall, room No. 1113.
- Occupational Therapy Assistant: Information sessions at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 24, Oct. 29, Feb. 25 and April 29 in Logan Hall, room 1115.
- Medical Coding: Information sessions at 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 8, Nov. 10, Feb. 9, April 13 and July 13 in Logan Hall, room 1115.
- Respiratory Care: Information sessions at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 11, March 17, May 5 and June 23 in Logan Hall, room 1115.
- Neurodiagnostic Technology: Information sessions at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 12, March 25, May 6 and June 24 in Logan Hall, Room 1115.
- Radiography: Information sessions at 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 26 and Feb. 16, and Wednesday, April 18, in Logan Hall, 1116.
