Super Bowl 50 is coming near, it airs Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m. on CBS this year. The teams that are going head to head on the field are Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers and Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. The Broncos have won the Super Bowl two times before in 1997 and 1998. The Panthers haven’t won any championships in the Super Bowl. The Panthers record holds 15 wins and 1 loss, while Broncos record holds 12 wins and 4 losses.
The Super Bowl has more than just the big game, it also has the half-time performance and of course the Super Bowl commercials.
The half-time performance this year will include British rock band Cold Play, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars and now Lady Gaga. Cold Play has songs such as “Vida La Vida” and “Yellow”. They are the headlining act at the Sunday halftime show. Beyoncé will join them at the Levi’s stadium in Santa Clara. Lady Gaga will be performing the Star-Spangled Banner. While Bruno Mars might be popping up during the time Cold Play preforms as well.
As for the Super Bowl commercials there will be plenty including Super Bowl babies, The Ghostbusters trailer, Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen the #BudlightParty, Drake for T- Mobile, Ryan Reynolds in Ryanville and much more.
So if you are having a tailgate party or having friends over this Sunday have a lot of fun and I hope the team you root for wins! (It would be best if the Chicago Bears were playing) but anyways let’s see who the winner of the Super Bowl 2016 will be.
