SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College is offering its annual winter baseball camp Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 29, 30 and 31 in Cass Gymnasium, LLCC-Springfield, 5250 Shepherd Road.
The camp will feature baseball alumni Justin Knoedler and Ryan Aper.
The three-day camp offers a session for ages eight through 10 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. A session for ages 11 and older will be from noon to 2:30 p.m.
Professional instruction in hitting, fielding and pitching will be provided by:
- Ron Riggle, LLCC head baseball coach
- Eric Weaver, former major league pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies
- Justin Knoedler, former major league catcher and current LLCC assistant baseball coach
- Ryan Aper, LLCC alum and 2013 Miami Marlins sixth round draft pick
- Colton White, LLCC assistant baseball coach.
Registrations are being accepted now.
Cost for the camp is $120. After Dec. 19, the cost will be $140. Camp fee includes a T-shirt.
